This weekend will see sponsored walks to support the Palestinian youth visits in Pendle, Leeds, Bradford, Hertfordshire and in 8 places in Palestine – more walks coming later.
The walks will help to fund CADFA’s youth visits in the next few months..
On 3rd August young people from 8 different places in Palestine (West Bank and Jerusalem) will do a sponsored walk round their villages, towns or refugee camps.
On the way each group will find 8 facts or stories– take pictures and videos of a person they interview or a place that is important – to show what they are proud of in the place they live in and also help them tell others about its history and their lives now under occupation.
We will share some of their pictures and videos on our social media – We will have a youth conference at which some of them will speak on Weds 17th September – and we hope to bring some of them to the UK on another of our visits very soon!
