Army violence at the Al Quds University
Army violence isn’t new at Al Quds University in Abu Dis, where students and staff tell us every so often of invasions by the Israeli army. But in the last few days there have been demonstrations, clashes, army shooting across the West Bank following the death of a prisoner in Israeli jail, and so much army activity in and around the Al Quds University that it has had to close.
Two days ago, fifteen (15) young people were wounded inside the university by Israeli army shooting.
And today, again (see this picture sent by an academic from the university), the university is full of tear gas and closed.
