CADFA is gearing up for three exciting exchanges this autumn and working to prepare for others in the future.
The final exchange in the wonderful Twinning in Action project will take place in early September. Sixteen Palestinian leaders from the students’, women’s and youth links teams in Palestine will join the leaders from the UK who have worked on the past eight Twinning in Action exchanges (see the blog here) and together they will evaluate the work and decide on next steps. The Twinning in Action project is funded by Erasmus + with the help of our members and friends.
In October, fourteen teachers from the UK will join their peers from partner schools in Palestine in a return exchange that follows a Palestinian teachers’ visit to Britain in January. The Teachers in Action project is funded by Erasmus + with the help of the National Union of Teachers. See the blog here.
And in November, CADFA will be working with the Palestinian Higher Council of Youth and Sport on an international exchange of young people. If you are under 30 and interested in taking part, please get in touch soon.
We are also now taking applications for a CADFA human rights visit to Palestine in March, and working to raise money for a girls’ football visit from Palestine.
We find these visits are an effective way of raising awareness about the human rights situation in Palestine, and welcome enquiries from interested people in the UK/ Europe (for the November visit) and also from Palestine.
I am interested to know in I still join the delegation in November if I am currently residing in qatar but as a British passport holder ?thanks
You can, if you are VERY quick
