Student links group meeting

 Students and volunteers at CADFA looking at CADFA’s student book “Look at our Lives.” Students from a number of universities are working with CADFA to make links with students in Palestinian universities and to plan for a student visit to Palestine in the new year. They’ll also be using the student blog SEE HERE.

Women’s links stall gets going

CADFA women’s links group has started its Saturday  stall at the Brunswick Centre, braving terrible rain on the first day (14th November) but still the stall went well. We invite you to come down on a Saturday to buy Palestinian oil or pottery, and to learn about the work of CADFA and in particular the links between women in Palestine and the UK.

Remembering Saleema Sabbah

Saleema’s embroidery

These beautiful hangings are some of the embroideries sewn in Abu Dis in the early days of CADFA, around ten years ago. These two were made by Saleema Sabbah, who was particularly good at sewing and embroidery. We are very sorry to hear that she passed away some days ago, after a long illness. We send our deepest condolences to her family. Her embroidery will always remind us of her.
