CADFA’s Nadine sings at Eid event

Cadfa's Nadine singing at our Eid event

A big thank you to CADFA’s volunteers for organising and running CADFA’s Eid event at the Calthorpe Project on 23rd July. It was great to hear the SOAS Arabic band playing music from Fayrouz and Marcel Khalife – and to discover that our EVS volunteer from Jerusalem, Nadine, is a serious singer, who we hope will sing again with them at our next event – Do look out for it!

A month in Abu Dis: May 2015

The people of Abu Dis continued to suffer on a daily basis from the restrictions and violence of the occupation: the huge Separation Wall, the ID system and the checkpoints all round them, the constriction and loss of land to the settlements, and the almost-daily incursions of fully-armed Israeli soldiers because of the presence of a military camp right in the middle of town. Read about May 2015 here…     … Read More →

Visit to our new MP

MP visit

CADFA visitors from Camden and Abu Dis visited Keir Starmer, our new MP, to tell him of our concerns about human rights in Palestine. Young Palestinians told him about their friends and class mates who were in prison. We asked him to support our visa equality campaign (see our petition and please sign it too).

CADFA in the streets on the first anniversary of the savage attacks on Gaza that left   over two thousand dead including over 500 children. Untold numbers disabled, wounded, orphaned, made homeless, traumatised, and the savage siege on Gaza still continues.
