DESCRIPTION:Join us in Leeds at Swarthmore Education Centre on June 27\, 2026 for the Women of Palestine Festival on the last weekend of CADFA’s Women of Palestine visit of fourteen women from the West Bank and Jerusalem.\nThe Women of Palestine Festival is a full-day cultural celebration bringing together stories\, creativity\, learning\, and community. The event will highlight the voices and experiences of Palestinian women\, creating a space for meaningful dialogue\, cultural exchange\, and artistic expression.\nJoin one or two of the sessions (morning\, afternoon\, evening) or get a special all-day pass. Reductions for CADFA members – you can join CADFA here: CADFA org/JOIN/\n\nMorning session – Meet our Palestinian guests and hear their stories\nThe day will begin with an introduction from CADFA\, sharing information about the organisation’s work and mission. Each participating woman will then introduce herself and share a little of her personal background\, offering attendees an opportunity to connect with the women behind the stories.\nFollowing the introductions\, attendees will take part in facilitated group discussions exploring the women’s experiences in the UK\, what they have learned during their time here\, and the insights\, knowledge\, and experiences they hope to take back with them. These conversations aim to encourage reflection\, solidarity\, and cross-cultural understanding.\n\nAfternoon session – Creative workshops with our Palestinian guests\nIn the afternoon\, the festival will move into a series of interactive workshops focused on Palestinian art\, heritage\, and culture. Participants will be divided into groups to engage in hands-on creative activities celebrating traditional and contemporary Palestinian cultural practices.\n\nEvening session – Enjoy music\, food and entertainment with our Palestinian guests\nThe festival will conclude with an evening celebration featuring Palestinian music\, food\, and dance\, creating a joyful atmosphere of community and cultural appreciation.\nThroughout the day – Palestinian Bazaar\nGuests will also be able to visit a Palestinian Souk/Bazaar\, showcasing handmade goods\, crafts\, artwork\, and products from Palestine\, providing an opportunity to support CADFA as well some Palestinian Owned businesses while experiencing the richness of Palestinian culture.\nTickets on\nhttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/women-of-palestine-festival-tickets-1989227073726
