Palestinian Voices Matter: Student Twinning Conference

University and college students are invited to join!
Aims to focus on human rights and anti-discrimination and what is happening in Palestine – to hear about the university visits and community twinning work done as part of the Palestinian Voices Matter project, discuss the effective ways of raising awareness of human rights and building solidarity and make plans for on-going contact between university students in Palestine and the UK for this reason.

Morning: Welcome and setting the context . Talks by the Palestinian students and their UK partners about Palestine, why we are student-twinning, and about this project and how it has gone Workshops – looking at what has been learned from the Palestinian Voices Matter students’ project and how this can be built on, making plans to take this forward
Afternoon: Planning collective next steps. Suggested (open to other ideas)..

The event is free, lunch is available – we will have a collection towards the student visit from Palestine that will be finishing that weekend.
