CADFA were happy to celebrate International Women’s Day this year in London together with our local community centre KTCC. It was a great day! In the afternoon, women from CADFA and from KTCC shared skills of many sorts – languages, henna, egg-decoration, shiatsu, knitting, Bollywood dance. CADFA women’s links group has started its Saturday stall at the Brunswick Centre, braving terrible rain on the first day (14th November) but still the stall went well. We invite you to come down on a Saturday to buy Palestinian oil or pottery, and to learn about the work of CADFA and in particular the links between women in Palestine and the UK.
CADFA Women’s Links group have decided to run a stall on Saturdays at the Brunswick Centre, Russell Square. Starting out with Palestinian oil and pottery, they hope to add Palestinian pastries to their offer, and to use money raised to support women’s exchanges between Britain and Palestine. Their first day will be tomorrow 14th November, and we wish them lots of luck!
